    Yuval Gal-On

    Adv. Yuval Gal-On is a partner at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. and heads the firm’s Planning, Construction and Zoning Department as well as the Administrative Law Department.

    Adv. Gal-On specializes in administrative law, planning, building and zoning law, expropriations of real property, local authorities laws, tender bid laws, business licensing laws, real property, and administrative contact laws.

    Adv. Gal-On possesses vast experience in providing clients with creative and unusual solutions in complex administrative matters. Thus, Adv. Gal-On combines his in-depth and long-standing acquaintance with senior government officials and public bodies, with his understanding of the urgent needs of the private sector.

    Amongst his public positions, Adv. Gal-On previously serves as legal counsel to the Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee, as legal counsel to the Shoham Local Council Planning and Building Committee and, he currently serves as legal counsel to the Givatayim Local Planning and Building Committee. In addition, Adv. Gal-On had previously served as external legal advisor to the Israeli Knesset on Planning and Building matters, and had represented dozens of local authorities and municipal corporations generally, and specifically in highly complex legal cases.

    Adv. Gal-On possesses unparallel experience in representing private sector clients, including real property urban-renewal project initiators. Adv. Gal-On oversees and manages complex licensing and planning proceedings and frequently represents clients in filing appeals, administrative petitions, including before the Supreme Court.

    Adv. Gal-On has a wealth of experience in representing real property initiating companies and real property owners in the promotion of the most complex planning proceedings before all planning bodies. He is considered a leader in this field of law, and has been consistently ranked as such by leading Israeli legal guides such as Dun’s100 and BDI, for his expertise in the promotion of dozens of outline and detailed building plans for real property initiating companies and local committees, in the scope of which he oversaw the coordination of the work of a professional team of architects, property appraisers and other professional consultants, guiding them through all the statutory proceedings until the final validation approval of all such plans.

    In his many years of operating, Adv. Gal-On has reached remarkable achievements, having his name attached to legal precedents that have been reported and continue to be so reported in legal publications:

    • Representation of the real property project initiator Mr. Seffy Tzvielli in an administrative petition and appeal to the Supreme Court, which led to the cancellation of the tender bid for the sale of the Kikar Atarim parking lot in Tel Aviv;
    • Representation of Edri-El Ltd. in a petition to the Administrative Court and the Supreme Court which led to the legal precedent and case law on the interpretation of outline building plans.

    Prior to joining, Adv. Gal-On was a founding partner of Shavit, Bar-On, Gal-On, Tzin, Vitkon & Co.

    Adv. Gal-On is active in the firm since 2021.

    • Gal-On is frequently invited as a speaker and lecturer, in the fields of his expertise, in advanced professional courses for senior civil servants various in local municipalities.
