    Our Team

    Igal Rinat

    Adv. Rinat serves as a Of Counsel in the practice areas of Real Estate and Real Estate Taxation, at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co.

    Born in Buenos Aires, to a long-standing Jewish family that had settled in Argentina at the end of the 19th century in the colonies established by Baron Hirsch.

    In 1959, the late father of Adv. Rinat, Adv. Benjamin Rinat (Rinsky) opened his own law firm, to which Igal, 2nd generation, joined following his legal internship. In 1996, Adv. Ehud Rinat, 3rd generation to the profession, also joined the firm.

    In June 2021 their law firm merged into Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. and has since become an integral and important part of our firm.

    Over his many years of practice, Adv. Rinat gained valuable and significant experience in a wide array of real estate transactions, including in the representation of contractors, acquisitions from contractors, representation of land owners, real property combination agreements and many more.

    Adv. Rinat published articles in the legal journal “The Counsel”, published by the Israeli Bar Association.

    Igal served in the IDF Judge Advocate General Unit during his mandatory military service and in reserve duty, for 28 years in total. In his last position he served as a Justice in the Military Court in the Gazza Strip, being honorably discharged at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

    Igal enjoys playing bridge, reading and travelling across Israel and abroad. He is married, has a son and a daughter and, is a grandfather to six grandchildren.

    • Licensed notary in Israeli since 1971.

    Education:

    • LL.M. (Magister Juris) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (1959).
