    Adv. Yaniv Holzman is a partner in the Commercial and Class Action Litigation Department at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co..

    Yaniv has vast experience in commercial litigation, specifically, in financial and economic related litigation, class actions, as well as in the representation of large commercial companies and financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies.

    Among the cases handled by Yaniv:

    • Representation of Allergan in a class action filed against it in connection with breast implants marketed by Allergan in Israel;
    • Representation of Bank Poalim in a class action filed against on the grounds of discrimination of customers residing in the Judea and Samaria region by refusing to extend them mortgages;
    • Representation of Israel Discount Bank in a class action on the grounds that the bank refuses to accept deposits of funds that originate from digital currencies such as bitcoin;
    • Representation of Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank in a class action on the grounds that the bank charges excessive commissions for foreign securities’ transactions;
    • Representation of Tamar Petroleum Ltd. in a dispute with Delek Group pertaining to their joint holdings in the “Tamar” gas reservoir.

    During his law studies, Yaniv volunteered at The Ruth and Emanuel Rackman Center for the promotion of women, as part of the center’s legal aid program for women in the field of family law, and even represented the center in a mock trial before retired Supreme Court Justices Dorit Beinisch and Edna Arbel.
