In the article in “The Marker”, Adv. Ofra Cohen, a partner in the Real Estate Department, is reviewing the benefits and the limitations of the last amendment to the planning and construction law which has been known as the “Shabas-Kahlon law”.
In her review, Adv. Cohen is in favor of the spirit of the government that is reflected from this law, to provide additional powers to the local committees which will strength the Israeli Real Estate market. On the other hand, Adv. Cohen is pointing obstacles and inherent failures in the amendment that are future to come and that will prevent it to fulfill its full potential.
