- Advising a global lending company on a credit facility transaction in the amount of US$425 million from the Apollo Group.
- Acting for one of China’s largest infrastructure companies on a tender for the NIS 1 billion project to build Israel’s first waste-to-energy treatment plant.
- Advising one of Israel’s largest privately owned property groups on the setting up of a NIS 3.5 billion real estate investment trust fund and acquisition financing for the fund.
- Representing a real estate group on its efforts to obtain NIS 4 billion (approx. USD1.25 billion) worth of financing from one of the leading Israeli lenders, to fund several transactions.
As well as our transactional practice, we have a strong litigation team acting on banking and insurance matters in particular on class actions.
Recent experience includes:
- Successfully defended one of the leading Israel’s banks against a claim filed by a customer seeking a declaratory judgement that the bank’s refusal to deposit funds originating from digital currencies (e.g., bitcoin) constituted a breach of laws covering the provisions of banking service to clients.
