The new General Director should reinforce IAA’s image as an impartial authority.

    February 9, 2016

Adv. Ravit Arbel, a partner and the head of the Antitrust practice in our firm, was interviewed to an article published on TheMarker, dealing with the challenges the new General Director of Israel Antitrust Authority is facing.

The article focuses on the difficulties of making a decision regarding coping with the antitrust issues rising when it comes to dealing with the major corporations in the Israeli market.

Adv. Arbel mentioned that the main action that the General Director should take is to keep the IAA from doing activities other than its purpose-protecting the competition in Israeli markets . the IAA should do so by being impartial and independent authority.
