    The latest agreement regarding the duration of internship is a compromise that will not fulfill its purpose.

    Adv. Aharon Pollak, Co-founder and senior partner of APM&Co. gave his opinion on the agreement between the Minister of Justice, the Israeli Bar Association and the law school’s deans representatives. The agreement says that the internship will last 1.5 years instead of 1 year, unless the intern has two different degrees. In that case, the internship will last 1 year only).

    Adv. Pollak said that the agreement may cause a gap between students who can afford themselves to learn 2 different degrees and students who can’t.
