Making requirements for payment levies by local authorities clear

    June 17, 2016

Adv. Assaf Oren, from our  Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, wrote an article for  Calcalist on the need to establish appropriate procedures to clarify the requirements for payment of development levies by local authorities.

In this article Oren explains that the legal procedures applicable  in the current administrative petitions make it very difficult for property owners to get  factual clarifications regarding  development taxes.

Municipalities are taking advantage of this for their benefit, and refuse to provide property owners information regarding the said taxes.

Attorney Oren concludes and recommends that there should be a clearer procedure that helps the property owner receive the opportunity to get a full disclosure of the all the facts regarding  development taxes.
