    “Creative Interpretation”: Electra’s winning of the IEC tender was invalidated

    The Haifa Court of Administrative Affairs canceled Electra Energy’s winning of a tender by the Israel Electric Corporation in August 2017 and ordered the matter to be returned to the tender committee of the company. This is a tender published by the Israel Electric Corporation for the laying of a high voltage line in Kiryat Bialik.

    The petition was filed by Lesico, who claimed that Electra did not meet the threshold conditions determined in the tender. Adv. Aya Reich-Mina, Partner, and Adv. Yinon Himi of the Litigation Department represented Lesico in the petition.
