In an article published in “The Marker” magazine, Adv. Yonatan Altman, Chairman of Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co., head of the firm’s Corporate and High Tech Department and Fund practice, referred to the issue of investments in start-up companies called “unicorns”.
A “Unicorn” is a nickname for a private company which earns a higher evaluation prior to its IPO.
In Adv. Altman’s opinion, given that there is enough private money looking for investments and the current high prices in the market – the private investments will continue to enjoy high prices. Furthermore, Adv. Altman thinks that the prices of private investments have not as yet reached their peak.
